Emily O’Rourke grew up in Burbank, California where she developed and embraced a passion for the arts at an early age. Inspired by her surroundings she began studying dance when she was 10 years old. Emily is an LA based artist and graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Working across both the commercial and concert worlds, she has worked with artists including Bleachers and Cassie Marin. Emily is drawn to the intersection of athleticism and artistry, creating and performing physically demanding choreography that balances strength with sensitivity. She is the co-founder of Tanz Tanz Revolution and is a company member of Geometry Dance Company (G1) under the direction of Mackenzie Martin. Emily is following her passion of working in the worlds of dance, choreography, television, and film while continuing to learn, create, grow, and explore every aspect of art in everyday life.
